CORE I Intensive: Technique — This CORE I course is designed as an introduction into becoming a CORE practitioner, and learning the fundamentals of CORE deep tissue work. Practitioners will learn how to coax deeper awareness from their clients while working with deep layers of connective tissue and fascia. This course will define differences in CORE work, as opposed to traditional massage therapies. We will dive into techniques that include teaching practitioners to be guides and facilitators, not manipulators. We will learn how to listen to the tissue, system, and body so as to identify static spaces and invite them to release. We will also learn movements and participation cues that enhance our work, and learn how to integrate specific (symptomatic) work we do into the entire body’s system.

CORE I and II are pre-requisites to learning the CORE III and IV five series of five sessions.
