  • CORE® .25: The Prerequisite to Further Learning, (1.5 hrs., $25)

A great place to start the CORE® journey and if you’re planning to enroll in a CORE® I, something you need to watch. This short course, about 90 minutes, will give you a quick look at what CORE® is, how it started, how it’s different from other bodywork and how it’s important to observe certain ‘rules’ that enhance every bodyworker’s skills. Noah gives a good presentation of learning to work with the patron in such a way that they’re interested in exploring together, keeping patron in their comfort and safety zones while encouraging change. Worth the time! $25 for the video instruction, included in your CORE® I enrollment, or refunded once you sign up for CORE® I. Note: In the video, CORE® .5 may be mentioned times…as we were preparing this originally CORE® .5 was to be the title, so please disregard that info.

  • CORE® .5: A Taste of CORE® (2 hrs., $50)

This is a friendlier and shorter look at CORE® work, including a good discussion of the vagal complex.  Besides discussing the principles of CORE®, actual footage of work with a client or patron, interviews with one of the patrons about the changes they witnessed, and a better sense of the how and why of CORE® work. Note: there was confusion with the naming of the .25, .5, and .75, so occasionally you may hear a misnumbering of which course you’re viewing!  Organization has been less of a skill with me in the last few years…but the information is solid, and good!

  • CORE® .75: A Deep Taste of CORE® /Unwinding the Spine (5 hrs., $75)

This five hour course offers a thorough intro to CORE® principles for those who want to enhance bodywork skills. Originally designed to be the pre-requisite for the in-person CORE® I , we realized it’s a bit too long for someone first coming to the work, so decided to use some of the info .75 in the .25 pre-req course. .75 is a great addition to your techniques! In six chapters, we look at what CORE work is, Rules for the Work,  philosophy, specific techniques, the Recipe including a demo of session one divided into two chapters: CORE® and Points of the star, then a final chapter on how we can help the patrons once the work is done, by providing movement and awareness ideas to help them keep their new body and incorporate better alignment. For a good grounding in CORE® work, this is a great class. $150.

  • The All-Purpose Recipe: Demonstrated (2 hrs., $100)

This video is primarily for students who have already participated in a CORE® I and want to observe two all purpose sessions given by Noah as a reference guide. There’s much to absorb! If you’re in a space where you want to learn on your own, this video, along with the CORE® textbook, The Essential CORE: Bodywork with Hands, Head and Heart (available on amazon)can give you good information for self-study. This video course is about three hours, including two basic session with models, then commentaries both before the sessions as well as after each individual session…giving more ideas and tools to help absorb the concepts of CORE® work. Much of the basis of CORE® work involves creating and fostering safety and care for the patron, then coaxing them to look deeply at the blocks that keep them from moving forward.  Pay particular attention to Noah’s use of words to engage the patrons.

  • The Five Session Series Demonstrations (12 hrs., $200)

12 hours of videos with actual clients/patrons taken through sessions 1—5.  In the videos we follow patrons Trevor and Molly through their respective  five sessions of CORE® recipe. First hour, touch the core and loosen the points. Second session sideline posture to lengthen the midbody. Third hour, Freeing the core deeply, front and back. Fifth session, Putting a good head on the shoulders. If you’re in a position where it’s difficult to study CORE® work with an instructor, the purchase of several of the shorter videos, plus this 12 hours of sessions, plus the purchase of Noah’s text, The Essential CORE: Bodywork with Hands, Head and Heart can’t make you an expert, but can give you a great start to learning how to explore bodies in a student-friendly manner. $200 for video of the ten sessions with two models.

  • Exploring the Evolving Vagal Complex (5 hrs., $150)

Many of us have developed greater awareness of the vagus nerve and its importance.  In this five hour class of ten lessons we examine in detail the anatomy of the vagus, its functions, the fight/freeze/flee mechanism monitored by the vagus, the use of self soothing techniques and more immediate ways to resolve vagal issues in the moment, through the use of processing and physical techniques to help ground and restore vagal health. We look at The Polyvagal Theory text by Stephen Porges to discover how his theory fits with others. This course is taught in classroom, with several demonstrations to enhance the ability to see and understand what’s happening and why.
